Team Turnpike Lacrosse is an ELITE club focused on providing players opportunities to reach the highest levels of lacrosse. At Team Turnpike Lacrosse, we emphasize passion, commitment, hard work, and respect for the game of lacrosse in a family-like atmosphere. We are passionate about developing the best lacrosse players, but also about developing them into the best person they can be off the field!
The Elite Mentality
Team Turnpike has had many players go on to play Division 1, 2, & 3 lacrosse. Starting in the mid-2000s with Turnpikers Tyler Mon- Princeton University and Casey Rahn- the University of Massachusetts, led the way. Both served as Captains of their respective teams during their senior seasons.
We’ve also had Turnpiker Ralph D’Agostino on the U-19 USA National Team winning a Gold Medal at the World Championships in 2011. Ralph finished his playing career at the National powerhouse, Syracuse University.
Team Turnpike has had several players and staff represent New Jersey at the Under Armour Underclassmen Games in Baltimore. In 2014 two Turnpike players, Jackson Andres and Evan Lombardo, 2016 Jared Jordan, 2018 Danny Boyer, as well as Coach Weigner. Coach Weigner helped lead the NJ team to the Championship game in 2015 and 2016. He helped lead the New Jersey team to a Championship over Washington DC, and was back again in 2017 but was defeated in OT of the Championship game.
We are proud to have many of our elite players reach the summit; Jack Vadja, a 2015 grad represents TPK as a member of the 2016 National Champion Le Moyne College team. In 2017 Michael Adler, a 2014 grad represented TPK as a member of the Division 1 National Champions University of Maryland. And in 2016 Chris Stafanowitz a 2016 grad represented TPK as a member of the Division 3 National Champions Cabrini College!
Over 50+ TPK players played the last few springs at the D1, D2, and D3 levels at great schools such as; Princeton University, Lehigh University, University of Maryland, Bucknell University, Air Force Academy, Monmouth University, High Point University, St. Johns, Marist College, Tufts, Conn College, Haverford College, York College, Lynchburg College, Cabrini College, Gettysburg College, Roanoke College, Ohio Wesleyan, and many more!
