Turnpiker’s Casey Rahn Captain UMass and Tyler Moni Captain Princeton University
Team Turnpike Alum Casey Rahn- Princeton High School & Division 1 Captain at UMass Amherst on his TPK Experience:
“For myself, Team Turnpike was an outlet I had not for purposes of college recruiting, new custom gear and apparel, or building up a well rounded resume for college, but was solely for the purposes of hanging out with my friends. Team Turnpike was started for the sole mission of joining the Central New Jersey lacrosse community together, not for financial gain or accolades. As over 13 years has passed since that first team, the foundational pillars of the organization haven’t changed and have only expanded to bring the entire state together in competition.
Team Turnpike began for the love of the game and that was the reason why I played for them. I made some of my best friends on that team and fostered new relationships because of the team. The consistency of the support and character building that Team Turnpike’s coaches have instilled in their athletes during the organization’s tenure has implanted leadership, team building and emphasis on academic achievement that has continued to produce elite athletes across the D1, D2, D3 and MCLA levels. With the college recruiting landscape becoming more and more competitive and daunting, I am happy to have been a part of an organization that still prides themselves on teaching the game as well as focusing on the recruiting process.
My time with Team Turnpike was invaluable for taking on my collegiate career at UMass Amherst and then with Team Israel and I am proud to have been and continue to be part of the TPK family.”
